Formula 1 Starting Grid (Wall-mount) — #LEGO71049

This 3D-printable display replicates the Formula 1 starting grid layout under the 2025 FIA regulations, designed for LEG.O set #71049 vehicles. The grid features exact regulation-inspired markings and proportions, including a white “box-C” border for each grid position and a yellow reference line for front wheel alignment, as per the FIA rules.

Key Features

• Fits 3 LEG.O cars by default; modular design allows for additional grid sections to hold more cars
• Wall mountable: includes a hole in the back so the display can be hung on a wall
• A desk/bench version without wall-mount will be released soon
• Accurate 2025 regulation-based layout, including:
  • White “C-shaped” box border with variable thickness (as on real F1 grids)
  • Yellow front-wheel alignment line to position the car correctly

Regulation Accuracy

• FIA Sporting Regulations 2025, Article 42.5b and 44.1-44.3: cars must start from a marked grid position and pull as far forward as possible
• Grid rows are separated by approx. 16 m (scaled down for this model)
• The yellow guideline is based on FIA trials to help drivers align their front wheels correctly

Assembly Instructions

• Cars attach via snap-fit LEG.O-style hooks from below — no glue needed (tight tolerance)
• To insert: tilt the rounded end in first, then press the flat end firmly.
  If needed, place the grid face-down on a flat surface and press down around the support
• For wall mounting, use the rear hole; make sure it’s level so cars line up correctly
