1503/1605 motor mount and 10mm to 5mm propeller adapter

Introduction 3D printed modification accessories for 1503 brushless motors including a 1503 motor mount and a 10mm to 5mm propeller adapter mainly used in DIY micro fixed-wing applications The attached document contains 1503 and 1605 motor thrust test data for download and reference

Filament Can be printed with PETG or PLA

Materials required for motor installation (Screw lengths are for reference screw diameters should be based on the dimensions provided by the seller)

1 3 M2×1.7 screws (for securing the motor mount and motor) Some manufacturers such as Hubsan and YinYan may require 1.6mm screws for their 1503 motors

2 2 M2×9 screws (for securing the propeller adapter and motor)

3 2 M1.7×4 screws (for attaching the propeller to the propeller adapter) Some manufacturers such as Hubsan and YinYan may require 1.6mm screws for their 1503 motors

4 3 M2*10 wood screws (for mounting the propeller base to the firewall optional)

4 4-inch/5-inch/6-inch two-blade propellers (Since there are 8-9 types of 1503 motors from different manufacturers ranging from 2200KV-4600KV the specific propeller type needed should be estimated based on the motor's KV and battery S count Generally for long endurance use 2S with low KV and for lightweight use 1S battery with high KV Qianfeng two-blade 4028 or 5126 or 6026 are recommended) Alternatively original or universal folding propellers can be purchased separately in which case the propeller adapter is not needed

Notes

1 The printed parts also support the two 1605 brushless motors currently available on Taobao and Xianyu 2200KV (with 2mm shaft) and 1850KV (shaftless) The screw lengths are the same but the diameters are slightly different so please refer to the seller's product description for details

2 If the 1503 and 1605 brushless motors are shafted versions the shaft diameter is generally 2mm The 10mm to 5mm propeller adapter included in the printed parts will need to be reamed to 2mm
