Description

Gridfinity bin for your Genmitsu Cubiko Laser module, glasses, and cable.

Some design considerations:

  • There is a cut out on this model to allow you to drop this in without unplugging the cable from the back of the laser module.
    • You can unplug it, but you don't necessarily HAVE to.
    • My theory is unplugging introduces 2 risks:
      1. risk of damage to the connector if I ham fist it repeatedly
      2. risk of losing the cable because if I don't put it where it belongs it will walk away
    • You can absolutely decide how valid my theories are for you. Have fun.
  • 2 small brackets hold the laser safety glasses LENSES UP,  not lenses to the side.
    • This is intentional so they are less likely to wiggle wiggle against other junk in your bin.
      • those wiggles would increase risk of scratching when you are slamming your drawers around.
  • Additional space next to glasses can be left blank OR used to hold the additional cables/hex-wrench that come in the laser module box.
    • Or you can put something else there if you want.
    • Or you can put nothing there if you want, but I am already judging you for it.
  • 2 versions available
    • 1 color - yep. it works great
    • 2 color - Enhanced 1 color design now with one more color! make the letters POP

Thats uh… pretty much it for now. I intend to throw a couple more gridfinity bins together for some of the other Cubiko stuff, in particular the spare motor and drawing tool. I just need more time to finish modeling and printing them.

Let me know what else you would like to see for your cubiko. Maybe I would like to see it too!
