Description
Made this model for my dentist at Medical Dental Spa in West London. This is an actual scan of someone mouth with CBCT.
And here is a little story about how important to have a good and well equipped ( with modern tools) dentist. Went in with a toothache, under my bridge. I needed a root canal treatment, but after cleaning it 2 times, having antibiotics and a panoramic X-ray (did show something) , it still didn't feel right. So we ended up doing a CBCT (3D) Scan and ta-da, inflammation on my upper jaw, on the root canal and a sinus infection.
It is so much more detailed then an x-ray and it makes it easier for the dentist to get you the right treatment, medication.
About the model: I would recommend print it with 0.12mm layer height and apply outer brim about 0.25mm gap between object and 2.5mm thinness. No need for support. In dual colour takes over 4 hrs to print, but in single colour is around 1.5hrs.
