Description

This project is a redesigned version of the excellent James Webb Space Telescope mirror created by floribot:
šŸ”— Original Design on Thingiverse

The finished mirror clock measures 80 cm wide by 88 cm tall, making it a substantial piece. To complete the build, you will need to print 18 mirror holders and 1 mirror center. I assembled mine using only super glue, without a backing board. While a backing board could be added for extra rigidity, it is not strictly necessary.

For this redesign, I introduced a cutout in the center to allow the installation of a clock mechanism. The model has also been adjusted to accommodate 20 cm mirrors, which are readily available on Amazon:

The clock mechanism I used can be found here:

For wall mounting, I used this excellent design by occultfullelo:

Note: the clock mechanism from Amazon does include its own mounting system, so you can choose the option that best fits your setup.
