🎃 Pumpkin Box – 3 Sizes (Small / Medium / Large)
A cozy, seasonal storage box shaped like a pumpkin—perfect as décor, a Halloween candy bowl, or a small gift. Prints cleanly in PLA, snaps together, and the stem works as a handle.
What’s included
- 3 formats
- Small: ~9.5 cm diameter
- Medium: ~14 cm diameter
- Large: ~21 cm diameter
- Separate Base + Lid + Stem
No AMS needed (easy assembly)
- The stem prints as a single part and press-fits into the recess in the lid—no multi-color/AMS required.
- I added generous tolerances so it fits on most printers/filaments.
- If yours is a touch loose, a tiny drop of glue does the trick. (I prefer leaving clearance rather than forcing you to sand if it’s too tight 🙂)
Why this prints so well
- Designed for FDM: rounded lobes, stable flat bottoms.
- Support-smart lid interior to minimize overhangs.
Example: on the Large size, auto supports were ~110 g; with simple manual/paint-on supports guided by the geometry, it drops to ~6 g.
Filament & look
- Prints very well in PLA.
- Also tested in PLA Silk—copper pumpkin with a bronze stem looks fantastic (see photos). ✨
