Description
I designed this toilet flush button after my old one got worn out and no longer matched the updated bathroom decor, which is now black. Instead of buying a new one, I decided to 3D print a custom button that fits the new style.
This model is made to fit 25mm holes on a standard toilet lid.
The button tolerances are not meant to be a perfect fit right off the printer — the tolerances are intentionally tight. That’s because printing with layer lines can cause an unpleasant noise and rough feeling when pressing the button.
To solve this, I sanded the button after printing using a drill to get smooth edges and proper clearance. This step eliminates the noise and improves the tactile feel, making the button much more satisfying to use.
