Decorative 3D replica of the mine launcher used by Bucky Barnes in the movie Thunderbolts. Designed as a prop piece for cosplay, display, or photo shoots. The model is intended for FDM printing, divided into parts to facilitate assembly and post-processing.
IMPORTANT: Purely decorative model. Not functional. Must not be modified to fire projectiles or contain real mechanisms. Use for dangerous purposes or conversion to a real weapon is strictly prohibited.
Printing Specifications and Recommendations
- Technology: FDM
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Layer height: 0.12–0.2 mm (0.16 recommended for good detail/time balance)
- Infill: 15–25 % (20 % recommended)
- Supports: Yes — enable for parts with overhangs (handguard, internal tabs).
- Build plate adhesion: Brim optional for small parts.
- Suggested material: PLA for ease; PETG for greater strength; ABS if sanding/polishing a lot (with adequate ventilation).
- Approximate temperatures: PLA 200–210 °C / bed 50–60 °C; PETG 235–250 °C / bed 70–80 °C.
- Print orientation: Print long parts with the “flat” face on the bed to minimize supports. Curved parts may require internal supports.
- Size: The file is scaled to adult hand prop size by default; check the scale before exporting your G-code.
Assembly and Post-processing
- Sand joint areas and layer lines if you want a smooth finish.
- Glue with plastic glue (cyanoacrylate or solvent depending on material). Use M3 screws at joints if holes are provided.
- Prime with a primer before painting. Acrylic paint or spray for best results.
- If you want a “metallic” finish, apply a black base, then dry-brush with metallic tones.
Included Files
- STL/ZIP by parts (body, magazine, grip, cap)
- PDF with assembly diagrams and print orientation (optional)
