Spider-Man Mask Uplighter / Wall Ornament (Fan Art)

Bring the style of Spider-Man into your room with this wall-mounted mask ornament, designed to double as a unique uplighter!

This fan art model is perfect for a boys’ room, game corner, or superhero-themed setup.

The mask can be displayed as a striking wall prop on its own, or paired with a 78mm R7s LED bulb for an atmospheric uplighting effect.

Printing & Assembly Details

• Mask (ASA): The main mask is printed in ASA for heat resistance and durability.

• Webbing & Eye Insets (PLA): Printed separately in PLA and carefully glued in place with CA glue.

  

• Eye Lenses (PETG): Made from translucent PETG to let light seep through, creating a cool glowing effect.
• Baseplate & Coverplate: Designed to hold the LED bulb.
  Due to wide variations in R7s bulb brackets, some user modification may be required.

• Optional Upgrade:

  # By switching up filament colors, you can easily create a Peter Parker version instead of Miles Morales.
  # If using as an uplighter, applying aluminium tape to the inside of the mask shell will greatly improve light reflection towards the wall.

  

Printing Tips

• To avoid warping when printing the baseplate and its cover in ASA :
  • preheat the printer chamber
  • print both parts at 50% speed
  • turn all fans off 
• Assembly requires some patience, but the end result is a stunning Spider-Man mask that really stands out on the wall.

Important Note

This is my first model with more organic shapes, created in Blender and combined with Fusion for the fixture design. As such, it is not a perfect “print-and-forget” model — some user adjustments to the various parts and careful assembly and gluing will be required!!
