Description
I experiment with multiple antennas so I'm always running coax out and then coiling it. Keeping it from kinking is a challenge until now.
This reel will hold 100' of RG8x if coiled cleanly as shown. Prints well in either PLA or PETG. Support is needed on the inside handle and brims are needed on the knob and washer (don't use supports on the knob, it will obstruct the hole.)
Mount the knob with a 4mm screw. FreeCAD isn't the greatest on threads, so the knob is easiest to put on if you use a tap on it first.
