Oathbringer The Next Step Quote

I made this for my sister after she asked me to create a piece from Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive—specifically Oathbringer. The figures are the Oathgate spren, framed by the Knights Radiant First Ideal glyphs: Life Before Death at the top left, Strength Before Weakness at the top right, and Journey Before Destination at the bottom center. The quote is from Oathbringer, set in Renasci W90, and the model itself was built in HueForge so the layers and colors carry the design without needing paint.

This series means a lot to both of us, and she’d asked for this awhile ago; I finally carved out the time and finished it just before her birthday. For me personally, this quote means a lot. And I'm sure that it will resonate with anyone who strives to improve and make themselves better.

Since this is HueForge you will want to make sure that you are using the following print settings:

• .4 nozzle
• .08 layer height
• .2 initial layer height
• Color changes at the following z heights: 1.08, 2.52, and 3.48 mm

With an AMS, load your filaments, slice, and map the slots to the model’s colors in Preview—the slicer will handle the automatic swaps at those heights. Without an AMS, slice as usual and insert pauses/filament changes at those exact Z-heights (use the Preview to jump to the nearest layer; in Bambu Studio add “Color Change” markers. 

If you use my  print profile the color swaps are already in place for use with an AMS. You can change the palette in Preview before slicing if you prefer different colors; the height breaks stay the same, only the assigned filaments change.
