Description

Inspired by this mechanism by Adam from Printables, I wanted to make a version that could be assembled without the need of metal screws or a metal spring. Using printed torsion springs, my design achieves the same effect and is easy to assemble in only 5 parts.

No supports needed. Use a high wall count for the springs and PLA works, but PETG would work better.

works just fine with pla. nice and springy. I like little dodads such as this, it also printed quick, was able to print a few at once

Had some PETG laying around so I gave it a try to see how it would do. Turned out great! Should hold up to more “clicking” abuse than normal PLA. Great design!

worked for a couple minutes and then the spring kept getting stuck under the gear when I clicked it. what should I do?

I have not had that issue. Try reprint the lever with 3 walls in a different filament?
