Description

Glock Mag - extended baseplate w a few options.

There's a few options here, but the main one is the “PLUS” basic model.  this gives you +2-3 rounds in the mag depending on the mag size and spring.  to get 3 you will want a 21 round spring and a 17round sized magazine.  the rest just use the oem follower and components of your mag.

This PLUS basic model i also shared the step files.

additionally there's an INSERT - you can use this if you just want the extension.  just using your normal springs.  you won't get the 2-3 extra rounds, but for many magwells you'd want this for the grip/manipulation aspect of the magazine (this is honestly what i use).

INSERT = this lets you skip the extended springs.  if you try normal springs (both 17 and 19 mags with the oem spring...won't feed proper).

If you use an extra power spring, you should be able to add 2-3 rounds to the mag. (i've used wolf extra power springs)

additionally, i have shared two “unique” styles.

  1. top / bottom - this is basically the same baseplate, but printed in two parts… so you can use different materials on the top and bottom.  maybe for color, style, or you mightt want the bottom in tpu.  you'll need to superglue them together afterwards.  I did this with silk PLA & PETG.  another one with TPU and PLA Pro.
  2. side panels - again similar to the others, but this has the option to glue/stick on side panels.  this is just for funsies and serves no purpose functionally.

This fits on all oem glock mags (I tried ETS & MecGar and Magpul.... They don't work well.  Magpul worked.... Pretty good. But the rest were non functional.  So just assume this is for oem mags only)

Hardware needed (optional... but if you drop the mags without these, it'll fall apart) :
- 1x m3x8mm flat screw (optional) https://amzn.to/4m7nv8W
- m3 heatset insert (push it in with solder) (optional)  https://amzn.to/4c7rTAc

The recess where the screw goes, is so that it sits in flared magwells.

IF YOU GET THE HEATSET IN DEEP ENOUGH it should then work with most magwells.  BE AWARE THAT IF YOU DO NOT GET THE HEATSET DEEP DOWN ENOUGH, YOUR screw head will hit the flared magwell.

Regarding strength and longevity -

  • the screw and insert are “technically” optional.  it'll work fine without them.  but i wouldn't be dropping the mags then on the ground.  if you're just heading to an indoor range… it's fine and will run just fine without the hardware.
  • I've had these loaded up with PLA PRO for about 3 weeks now…still holding strong with no creep.  after a month i have no reason to believe they would get worse.
