Land Aegis: 625E Gun-Missile Integrated Weapon System (CS/SA5)
Print Profile(2)

Description
The prototype of this model is China's new generation self-propelled air defense equipment—the 625E gun-missile integrated weapon system, also known as the CS/SA5 type 30mm wheeled self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. This system was jointly developed by China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO) and China Ordnance Equipment Group, positioned for terminal air defense operations, mainly to counter the increasingly prominent threats of drones, cruise missiles, and other low-altitude targets in modern warfare
The so-called "gun-missile integrated system" integrates rapid-fire cannons with air defense missiles within the same turret: In the center, a six-barreled 25mm Gatling gun is installed, with a rate of fire reaching 3000–5000 rounds per minute, capable of forming a high-density close-range firepower net. The 4–8 air defense missiles mounted on both sides of the turret are used for precise interception at medium to long ranges. The two weapon systems complement each other, giving the system powerful all-domain terminal air defense capabilities, earning it the reputation of "Land Aegis"

Name Interpretation
- 625E: Design model, intuitively reflecting core parameters. "6" stands for six-barreled autocannon, "25" for 25mm caliber, and "E" for export model
- CS/SA5: Standardized designation adopted by China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO) in its export catalog, where "CS" stands for China Ordnance System, "SA" for air defense category, and "5" is the series number
- PLB-625: In-service domestic version, designation for PLA standard equipment
Configuration Versions
The 625E adopts a modular design, from radar and observation/sighting equipment to main weapons and missile systems, all can be flexibly configured according to battlefield requirements (and buyer's financial capabilities)
The 625E exhibited at Airshow China 2024 and IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi. Features a short-barreled autocannon and a total of 8 FB-10A air defense missiles mounted on both sides

The in-service domestic version PLB-625 of a certain brigade of the Chinese Army's 71st Group Army. It has been changed to a long-barreled autocannon and is configured with 4 Hongying-6B (FN-6) air defense missiles, showing higher cost-effectiveness in anti-drone operations. Due to shared datalinks, not every vehicle needs to be equipped with a search radar

During the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance, the active 625 appeared in the air defense and anti-missile formation - the anti-drone squadron

This model is based on the top-tier version featured in the CCTV-7 program 'Blade Training' (May 16, 2024, Land Aegis)—equipped with a complete radar fire control system, long-barreled autocannon, and FB-10A air defense missiles, representing the 625E's most combat-ready form
Printing and Assembly
Scale and Dimensions
The model scale is 1/26, with a finished length of about 32cm. Because it has been split, it supports A1 mini.
The approximate size is shown in the figure below—about 1.5 filament spool lengths
Completely support-free
No supports are needed for any parts. To achieve this, modifications were made to details, such as changing the rearview mirror fixing method, thickening external handrails on the vehicle body, and adjusting the direction of the tarpaulin bucklesArticulated features
The model is mainly for static display, but it also has some articulated features.
Wheels can rotate (not steerable); turret can rotate; search radar can rotate and fold; tracking radar and electro-optical fire control can rotate; autocannon can adjust its elevation angleThe missile launcher was originally designed to rotate in elevation, but it easily interfered with the turret's rotation and could be damaged, so this was abandoned. The current version allows for elevation adjustment by plugging and unplugging, with each step being 22.5 degrees, allowing for posing at specific angles
Material and color scheme suggestions
After three rounds of printing tests, PLA is recommended. For the main body, I used Sunlu PLA Oak Wood Color.
For the tire treads, you can try TPU. I tested with Sunlu TPU 95A, and the results were good. Of course, printing with ordinary materials is also perfectly fine.
Some small parts also require white, orange/yellow, and red. Several extra pieces of each are included to prevent loss and reprinting
5.Assembly InstructionsAssembly requires super glue
All parts are meticulously named, so you can tell where they go by their names. You can also refer to the 625E Assembly Diagram.pdf in the assembly guide

Update Log
2025.10.1 Turret rotation shaft tolerance adjusted to +0.2 mm, and autocannon elevation shaft tolerance adjusted to +0.14 mm, to increase friction and reduce looseness. When installing the turret, first rotate it 90 degrees to align with the bayonet mount before pressing it into the main body; this effectively prevents accidental detachment during daily handling

A quick reminder: good bed adhesion is essential for a successful print.
Make sure your material and temperature settings are correct, and clean the build plate regularly.
Bambu Lab Liquid Glue for Build Plate is a great way to ensure reliable results.
