Ther original tool was too big for this usecase, so i designed my own smaller version. This compact, user-friendly adjustment aid helps you set the travel end points (upper and lower limits) on motorized roller shutters more easily and accurately. The design is intentionally smaller than many factory tools so it fits into tight housings and makes fine adjustments without bulk. Suitable for many Schellenberg electric roller shutter motors and other motors with compatible clamping/shaft geometry.

How to use (example)

  1. Power off the motor or put it in manual/adjust mode per the motor manual.

  4. Set the end point according to the motor’s programming procedure.
  5. Remove the tool and verify normal operation.

Printing recommendations

  • Material: PETG or ABS for better toughness; PLA is acceptable for light use.
  • Layer height: 0.16–0.24 mm for a good balance of detail and strength.
  • Infill: 30–50% (higher if you want a sturdier tool).
  • Wall/shell: 2–3 perimeters (1.2 mm+).
  • Supports: Usually not required — print flat on the largest face.
  • Fit tolerance: Designed to be a snug fit — if your clamp/shaft is tight, scale the model +1–2% or add 0.2–0.5 mm clearance as needed. Always measure your motor’s shaft/clamp before printing.
