Description
This lamp was relatively simple to make. It required just over one spool of filament, with only a small portion needed from a second roll. I used the fuzzy skin texture, which I think gives the lamp a more professional finish and helps it feel less “plastic.”
The wooden legs might be a bit harder to source, but I recommend buying them online. I used wooden dowels (1 ¼" × 72") and cut them down to about 55". If the legs are too tall, the lamp doesn’t look as balanced. You can either purchase dark oak dowels or buy a lighter wood and stain it a darker shade. No sanding is necessary, just choose dowels that aren’t too rough and apply the stain with a rag.
Refer to the parts document I uploaded for the sources of all the other materials I used. Most of the components came from Amazon, while the wooden dowels were from Lowe’s.
