Description

Hi, I needed to bring some filament onto AMS compatible spools, I've seen excellent projects around but too complex and expensive, I don't want to waste filament, time and money buying bearings, screws or anything else.

Simplifying as much as possible and without needing anything else apart from a printer, I designed this. Simplicity is fundamental for me! you can use the crank, or a screwdriver on the removable pin.

WARNING: for the unwinding spool I use an open filament dryer, otherwise print the parts 2 times to have a complete set

If you are interested feel free to bring updates, I left

Grazie mille per il design. L'ho stampato con un infill al 25% con dell'Overture SuperPla+ estremamente resistente. Come altri utenti mi stamperò degli spaziatori perchè al primo utilizzo con l'avvitatore avevo stretto troppo e creato troppo atrito :p vedi foto 2. In ogni caso funziona benissimo !

Easy way to respool. My base wasn't perfect, surface imperfections and the arms started to widen towards the top, but this was probably my fault. Made a little spacers to remedy the situation, functioned fine with those.

printed 2 copies, printed well with PLA basic. used for unspooling Amazon PETG filament to a Bamboo lab spool to fit in AMS.
