Magnetic Wire Guide
Print Profile(1)

Description

Introduction
There's a few styles of magnetic cable/wire guides out there, but they didn't entirely fit my application. I wanted to run wires along the metal frame of my desk and needed something a little more compact in profile. I wanted them to be magnetic, so I could more easily reconfigure things, as I'm prone to do.
I came up with these simple little guides and made use of some 40x10x3mm rectangular magnets I had from Bambu. They have a great hold because of that beefy magnet! I made 4 different height profiles to choose from.
Filaments & Hardware
- Bambu PETG HF Black
Hardware:
- 40 x 10 x 3 mm Rectangular magnet
Notes on printing
I would suggest doing a test print with whatever filament you're using and the magnets you have if you source them from someone other than Bambu. The magnets are meant to be a tight press fit! But they shouldn't be too tight. If they are, you should be able to adjust the X-Y hole compensation in the slicer to adjust/tweak the fit.
