Description
This is a simple version of a bell centre punch, which is widely used on metal by engineers. This is a light duty tool designed for woodturners, so they can quickly establish and mark with an indentation the centre of a small cylindrical (or perfectly square) length of wood. The steel punch is simply a ground length of meccano axle.
I've included a 35mm and 50mm capacity version in the file.
