Description

Theese are parametric / customizable brace pvc pipe clamps with hinge (or any type or pipe or hose), for every situation where you need a pipe or a hose fitted on a wall.

Parameters works from 16mm pipe or hose up to whatever you might need. Can be used in workshops for 63mm and 100/110mm or larger dust extraction pipes. I actually designed them for this pourpose in my workshop, as there are no others available parametric on any platform, and they are expensive to buy and very hard to find to fit my 63mm dust pipes/water drain pipes.

FEATURES:

  • NO SUPPORTS needed. Print in place as in my print profiles. There are some small pins in the hinge to help with bridging, and after print, just break/cut them with a razor blade. If you add supports, will be very hard to clear them clean, so…those pins are the best option, tested, my print profile works perfect with PETG and PLA+.
  • the clamps have a customizable base that you also can make it tall, for when the pipe needs to be further away from a wall.
  • you can only use countersink wood screws and holes are adjustable for screw diameter max 5mm and screw head max 9.8mm.
  • for tightening the clamp use only M4 bolts+nuts (countersink will fit perfect, but flat cap bolts will do the job also( M4x12mm countersink would be perfect if the clamp inner diameter is very close to pipe diam). I also have a parametric model that uses M5 bolt for tightening, (bigger thicker arms) let me know if you feel you need bigger . Personally i don't think that this M4 version will ever fail because arms are a bit smaller.
  • pressfit one M4 nut first, and the bolt hole is made tight so any M4 bolt will make it's own thread and will stay in place when clamp is open. (no parameters for this area).

CHECK ALSO MY PIPE FITTING GENERATOR related to theese pipe clamps, in case you do a custom job: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2608743-generator-for-pipe-tube-hose-fitting-tapered#profileId-2879366  or this pipe cap solution https://makerworld.com/en/models/2653377-tapered-caps-for-pipes-screw-lid-customizable#profileId-2933706

Please be aware that if you customize this model in MakerWorld and then download it as an STL/3MF  file, the downloaded version might have a lower mesh resolution than the original. Curves may look slightly faceted. This seems to be a MakerWorld issue and more and more people push MW to increase STL size limits, is not related to the model itself.

If you're not happy with your STL/3MF slicer preview after download, i can help you, just PM me with your exact customization and i upload a fine quality STL/3MF in my Google Drive, and give you a link to download it from there, or i add a print profile here.
