Greek Mythology Sundial

A beautifully designed sundial inspired by the timeless elegance of Greek mythology. It features a classic Roman numeral face and a central lightning bolt gnomon, paying homage to Zeus, the king of the gods. The intricate wave pattern along the inner rim adds a touch of ancient Greek artistry.

This model was made for the MakerWorld contest. It has a 130mm diameter, but you can scale it to your desired size. The lightning bolt is glued to the base for easier printing.

I printed this in PLA with supports for the lightning bolt. The base was printed in one color, with just the top contour done in a separate filament to minimize filament changes.

Note: This model is designed for decorative purposes only. I have not tested it in the sun or paid attention to precise angles, so it is not a functional timekeeping device.
