Screaming Ghoul Tealight

May I introduce to you: a rather hungry little ghoul, screaming his way out of a tombstone because, well… eternity doesn’t come with snacks. I think it turned out to be a pretty interesting model!

This model was born from a mix of AI and the MakerWorld Image to 3D tool. To be honest, I was just experimenting a bit — and somehow, this creepy little ghoul came to life.

Of course, the raw result wasn’t perfect, so I cleaned it up in Meshmixer and made a few tweaks in the slicer. The cover, however, I had to model by myself.

For something that started as a happy accident with a bit of AI magic (and quite a bit of manual work), I think it turned out pretty awesome.

I’ve uploaded the raw STL file exactly as shown in the pictures but without the hole for the candle. In the 3MF file, I separated the tombstone from the base plate so you can freely scale it. That way, if you want to use bigger candles or remove the base plate entirely, you can. The negative cutout for the candle is also adjustable.

The insert cover for the candle is printed separately. Just place your candle in the slot and put the cover on top.

One important note: make sure your print bed is very clean when printing the cover, since its contact surface is extremely small!

If you just want to print it via the app, go right ahead – you’ll get exactly what you see in the pictures. The hole for the candle is about 38.5 mm in the printed version, which fits a standard Bambu Lab electronic tealight. (I also tested another random tealight, and that worked too!)

Excellently creepy and prints very well. It comes out clean, and with the lighting, it's truly an eye-catcher.

Great model, no printing difficulties, even though I was a bit skeptical about the supports at first, but everything printed very well without problems. Printed on the P1S with 0.12mm layer, 3 walls and 10% infill. The hole for the LED tealight is I think about 37mm, so you should pay attention to what LED tealights you have, I found that they all vary slightly in diameter. Otherwise everything is ok

Thank you for the detailed review! Yes, that's right, the supports work surprisingly well for this model. The hole fits most LED tealights quite well, at least there have been no complaints so far 😁

Replying to @Halogen_Potato :
The LED tea lights from me went in, but were a bit stiff. But I also have some that are almost 40mm in diameter that probably won't fit. But this is not a criticism of the model :) rather that one pays attention to it and does not give a bad review because of something like that

Very nice model, unfortunately no print profile was available for the A1 Mini I scaled the model down by about 8 percent but kept the cutout for the tea light (approx 39 mm) I also printed a version scaled down by about 15 percent a tea light no longer fits in there however a small colorful LED with approx 30 mm diameter does I will upload the A1 Mini print profile later
