Vince Wilson’s ESP-Inspired Vision Cube
This clever update to the classic Color Vision effect replaces colored sides with six powerful symbols. Five are the legendary Zener designs used in J. B. Rhine’s experiments at Duke University: the circle, cross, wavy lines, square, and star. The sixth is a striking infinity symbol that suggests endless possibility.
The cube has been designed with precision. It slides into its box without a sound and without any movement once inside. The fit is exact, which adds to the sense of mystery and credibility.
A spectator secretly chooses a symbol, places the cube into the box with the chosen side down, and closes the lid. The performer then takes the box, pauses for a moment, and correctly identifies the symbol every time.
The effect looks effortless, yet it creates a powerful impression. The ESP imagery connects with history and science, while the infinity symbol adds a modern layer of intrigue.
