Best to be printed with PETG as spiral vase, no support needed, uses only 44gr. filament.
easy settings to print a watertight object in spiral vase mode;
1- PETG recommended since when in contact with water it performs much better comparing to pla or pla derivatives.
2- Edit your filament settings in slicer and increase flow ratio to 1.2,
3- Set all “line width” settings to 2x your nozzle allows (0,8mm lines for 0,4mm nozzle, or 1,2mm lines for 0,6mm nozzle etc.)
4- Smaller layer height brings better watertightness. 0,16mm layer height is fine for 0,4mm nozzle, 0,2mm layer height is ok for 0,6mm nozzle etc…)
5- printing 5 degree celcius hotter generally helps, but depends very much on the filament.
Model is suitable for printing in normal mode but its harder to make watertight and uses more filament.
May the perfect first layer be with you!
See you on the next design!
