Description
Here is my winter cap for a Gardena Pop-up Sprinkler OS 140.
The cap consists of 2 parts and is installed as follows:
- Remove the lid of the pop-up sprinkler.
- Unscrew the sprinkler head.
- Now screw the threaded adapter into the ½ inch thread.
- Place the cap on the pop-up sprinkler.
- Now screw the cap with an M10 x 100 mm hex screw.
Important:
Tighten the screw only slightly until you feel
that the spring of the pop-up sprinkler is slightly tensioned.
If you want to drain the water pipe of the pop-up sprinkler,
there is an adapter here for a 35mm wet vacuum cleaner.
I recommend printing both parts from PETG.
