Description

⚙️ The Stackable Gear Launcher 🚀

Get ready for some serious mechanical fun!
This modular system lets you stack planetary gear stages and build your very own power launcher. Each stage clicks firmly into place 🧩, no supports needed, and the propeller fits onto every module for maximum flexibility.

Key Features:

  • 1 Stage (Handpiece): Gear ratio 1:4 (4 planetary gears)
  • 2 Stage: Add another gear segment: ratio 1:4 (3 planetary gears)
  • 🔄 Infinite Expansion: Add as many stages as you like!

Recommended Setups:
A) Handpiece + 1 Addon = 1:16 ratio → Solid boost 💨
B) Handpiece + 2 Addons = 1:64 ratio → Big power ⚔️ (my personal favorite!)
C) Handpiece + 3 Addons = 1:256 ratio → Overkill 💥 MAX POWER (⚠️ add a drop of oil for smooth running)

🖤 Prints cleanly without supports
✨ Parts snap together firmly with a little force
🎨 Works best with basic/silk filament for lower friction

🚀 With the 1:64 gear ratio (big power) , it can fly above 20 meters.

Whether you want a fun desk toy, a learning tool for gears, or just the thrill of building a modular launcher, this design is pure maker magic.

Are you ready to unleash the Stackable Gear Launcher

something is seriously wrong with your printer if it looks like that. that’s not the print files fault at all. have you ever maintenanced your printer? what filament are you using?

I found that the prop was way too thin and kept breaking, so I thickened it up. Here is a link to the download... https://makerworld.com/en/models/2805751-thick-prop

I really like this. It looks so cool and fun, but I can only find the file for the planetary gear addon. Can someone explain why I can't find them and help me get them?

Strength Issue:the handle to twist the gears almost instantly broke after printed on 50% speed

I did not know what went wrong, please print with my print profile settings. 50% speed is not good for the overhangs. I recommend a reprint with 100% speed and use of bambu lab basic or silk filament..

I reprinted at 100% and still broke

I’m not sure what happened, but I tested it several times, even with an A1 Mini, and it worked fine. That said, the choice of filament is important—I recommend using basic Bambu Lab PLA.

What would happen if you stacked 80 of them together to make it 90 feet long and then spun it
