Description

🧵 Filament Color Swatch Test (4 × 0.2 mm on Black)

This test model is designed to show the tone and opacity of your filament when printed in 0.2 mm layers. It can be used by anyone, but it is especially relevant for my projects, since the layer height of 0.2 mm is intentionally chosen — this is the standard I use for my Layered Art Lids.

🛠️ Print details

  • Dimensions: compact, optimized for quick prints
  • Layers: 4 overlapping layers at 0.2 mm
  • Base: black background (recommended for consistent results)
  • Print time: just a few minutes

🎯 Purpose

  • Check the real appearance of your filament (tone and coverage)
  • Create a visual reference
  • Build your own “Filament Reference Library” to keep track of materials used
  • Ensure maximum compatibility with my Layered Art Lid system

📦 Includes

  • STL file ready to print
  • Example image for reference

⚠️ Notes

Colors shown in the example are for reference only. Real-world appearance depends on monitor calibration, lighting conditions, and even variations between filament batches from the same manufacturer. This model is not intended for lithophanes or filament painting tests. If you are searching for advanced testing in those areas, I recommend looking for more specific models available.
