Universal Lens Cap Clip
Print Profile(1)

Description
I have designed a practical lens cap clip that can be attached directly to the camera strap. This useful accessory consists of two parts that are not only functional but also easy to assemble.
The two components are connected by a hinge. A 2mm steel pin or a small nail can be used for this. To achieve a pleasant feel and targeted friction when opening and closing, the hinges were designed with an overlap of 0.1mm. This provides a solid, high-quality feel during use. At the ends of the parts, where the lens cap is clamped, there is also a small nub on each side. These are placed to reliably prevent the cap from accidentally sliding out and provide extra grip. For attachment to the camera strap, the strap guide was designed with dimensions of 12mm x 3.5mm, allowing for easy and secure attachment. Small nubs are also present at the ends of the parts where the springs are attached. The suitable springs have an inner diameter of 7mm and a length of 19mm.
The finished model is designed to hold the lens cap firmly and securely while shooting. After use, it can simply be placed back into the clip. Thanks to the clip, the cap is always at hand and securely stored.
