Baja 5th scale RC front window grills.

Description
Some additional front window options I have designed for the HPI, Rofun/Rovan, king motors Baja 5B platform.
Plate 1. This is a gnarly angular scooped mouth designed as a small ram air type addition. Its boxy and reminds me of the old Yamaha Quad bike form back in the day. It looks aggressive prominent. The extra front scoop feature seems strong and sturdy so should resist a bash or two while your buggy takes a tumble. I used some old PETG and the over hangs on mine printed like crap but with some dried fresh PETG this should print well for you. I just used a craft knife, bity of sand paper and a small blow lamp to clean mine up and it was fine.
Plate 2. Another scoop fronted design aiming to catch some air and direct it to the air intake. Utilising some oval shapes I have made the scoops plumb to the buggy so they are facing forward correctly and look level. I really didn't think I would like this but it actually looks fantastic on my buggy and not like anything I have seen before. For this model I have used a bit of galaxy PLA which feel up for the task but I would expect it to be the toughest bit of kit. End of the day it is 30g of filament so absolutely on hardship if I break one.
Plate 3. This is a honey combe flat mesh style window. Looks great and more traditional to buggies I have seen images of from years ago. Its about 15g of PETG and has a nice bit of flex to it but again it's not going to be hugely strong but the flex will work in your favour.
They are all just a bit of fun and will look great on your HPI bajas when you ripping about. Easy prints, cheap to make and may inspire someone with more design flair to come up with something else even cooler. You can choose what ever colour you can get hold of to match these windows options to your buggy and have some fun with it.
