Description
New sizes added - for seatposts with 30, 32, or 34 mm diameter
The original mounting for my VDO taillight, which used a supplied rubber ring, was inconvenient. This led me to develop an alternative that allows for easy removal of the taillight when parking
The holders are available in 30, 32, or 34 mm diameters and are also secured to the seatpost with a rubber ring. (You might be able to use the original rubber ring for this. I ordered a new set from Amazon, as I also used them to attach my bike pump to my bottle cage.)
The diameter can be reduced with inserts if needed, but this has not been tested
The taillight simply slides into the adapter and holds without additional fastening, though it can also be secured with a drop of superglue if desired
The adapter is then slid onto the holder. Magnets prevent it from slipping and keep it secure. This allows the taillight, including the adapter, to be easily removed and taken with you
Four 10x2mm magnets are required
I printed it with black ABS
