INTRODUCTION

I needed a landing gear for my acrobatic model airplane and decided to 3D print something lightweight and functional

FEATURES

The landing gear is 75mm high (excluding wheel diameter) and 150mm wide The total weight, including the necessary screws (m2 and m3) for assembly, is around 30g

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1- Cut a trapezoid into the fuselage with the indicated dimensions

2- Using glue, attach the landing gear support (the part with the same shape and a central hole)

3- Attach the landing gear to the support using m2 screws and nuts

4- Insert the screws that will serve as the axle for the wheels into the appropriate holes

5- Secure the wheels with self-locking nuts

MATERIALS

It is recommended to print everything with PETG for greater mechanical resistance, but PLA is also optimal

NOTES

The model has already successfully passed the flight test and from the attempts made, it is recommended to launch your model aircraft from asphalt or a flat and smooth surface

The landing gear was designed for 6mm Depron models

Recommended model aircraft weight below 500g

The hole in the landing gear support was designed to reduce weight and allow for the passage of any wiring
