H2S H2D H2C AMS Flipper Kipper
Print Profile(4)

Description
AMS Hinge
This hinge was developed to allow you to tilt the AMS 2 of your Bambu Lab H2S and H2D printer backward. This gives you quick and convenient access to the print chamber at all times without having to dismantle the entire AMS.
Especially for tasks such as removing or cleaning the glass plate, clearing filament residues, or servicing the print head, this upgrade makes all the difference: maintenance is easier, faster, and safer to perform.
✅ Advantages at a glance
Significantly easier access for maintenance & service
Practical for working on the glass plate and print head
No longer necessary to completely dismantle the AMS
Robust hinge easily supports approx 4 kg filament spools in the AMS
Stable, durable construction – also suitable for frequent tilting
Stays in the tilted position with and without loaded filament.
Easy installation, field-tested
🔩 Required Screws
For assembly, 8 additional screws are required, which are available in the Bambu Lab Shop (linked at the very bottom):
4x SHCS screws (Socket Head Cap Screws) in BT3x12
4x BHCS screws (Button Head Cap Screws) in M3x10
These screws are longer and have been selected to match the material thickness of my base plate, ensuring a secure hold and guaranteeing the necessary stability when tilting.
🛠 Assembly Instructions (Step by Step)
- Screw the two base plates to the back of the printer.

- Per plate: use 2x BHCS and 2x SHCS

- Mount the hinge holder:
Simply slide it on using the dovetail joint.
- Insert the hinge into the hinge guide.
- Finally, attach the AMS to the hinges – done! 🚀
✨ This upgrade is perfect for makers who regularly work on their Bambu Lab printer and want to significantly simplify maintenance.
⚠ Note: Installation is at your own risk. Since the original screws must be replaced with other screws for assembly, I assume no liability for possible damage to the printer Please be careful and always work thoughtfully! If the recommended screws are not used, the hinge will not hold with 4kg of filament!
