Magnetic Fridge Notepad & Pen Holder
Print Profile(1)

Description
I designed this to replace a simple hook on our fridge that always left the pen missing. This solution provides a dedicated and organized spot for both a notepad and a pen, while adding a clean, modern aesthetic to our kitchen.
Features:
- Holds a standard top-bound notepad (pictured with a 3x5 inch pad).
- Integrated side holder for a pen or pencil.
- Customizable Magnetic Strength: Features 7 magnet slots. Start by populating the four tabs on the sides. If you need extra holding power to prevent sliding, you can add up to three more magnets on the bottom. With all magnets it has a very strong holding power.
Printing Instructions:
- Material: PLA or PETG. A matte filament gives a very clean, premium look.
- Layer Height: 0.2mm is recommended.
- Infill: 15% is sufficient.
- Supports: Yes, supports are needed due to the print orientation. Support removal is straightforward.
Assembly / Parts Needed:
- Magnets: You will need up to seven (7) 1/4"×1/4" round neodymium magnets. You may also use a shorter magnet that is 1/4" in diameter. Try searching
- You may also try substituting a 6mm diameter variant with the use of glue to hold it in place. I tried using 6mm x 2mm in the first version of this model and the holding power was not strong enough. I would recommend 6mm x 6mm but feel free to try whatever you would like!
- You can also stack multiple 6x2 magnets on top of each other. The holding force is slightly reduced but it will still add a good deal of holding strength.
- Tool: A 1/4" drill bit is recommended.
- Adhesive: A drop of super glue for each magnet would help ensure that they do not slip out. I did not need glue, but use as needed.
Assembly Steps:
- After printing, carefully remove all support material.
- IMPORTANT: Test fit the magnets. Due to the printing orientation, the holes may not be perfectly circular. Use a 1/4" drill bit to gently clean out the holes. You can usually do this by hand by simply twisting the bit in the hole a few times—a power drill is not necessary but may make your life easier.
- Optional - Place a small drop of super glue into each magnet slot and press-fit the magnets into place.
- Once the glue is dry, attach it to your fridge and get organized!
