IMPORTANT: For this model you´ll need to use glue. Some pieces (Depending on Filament used and 3D Printer) will fit perfectly in a way where mabe there´s no needed to use glue, even though I recommend you to use it (SuperGlue for small parts and SiliconGlue form big ones, ALSO THERE ARE SOME SMALL PARTS Where you´ll need to use small tools to manipulate them correctly notice this before starting to print).
For this project you´ll need to be very patient, as there´s a lot of very thin parts, due to the complexity of this model, also there´s lot´s of supports wich you´ll also need to remove very carefully. But as you can see the work is worth of your time :)
The McLaren 675LT Coupé, unveiled in 2015, is one of the most celebrated models in McLaren’s modern era, a car that takes the already ferocious 650S and pushes it into even sharper, more visceral territory. The “LT” in its name stands for Longtail, a homage to the legendary McLaren F1 GTR Longtail that dominated endurance racing in the late 1990s. Just like its predecessor, the 675LT was engineered to be lighter, faster, and more focused than the car it was based on, with a clear emphasis on track performance while still being road legal.
At its core lies McLaren’s 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, upgraded with new lightweight components, delivering 675 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 7.9 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 330 km/h. Despite using the same engine family as the 650S, around 50% of its components were new or revised, highlighting how extensively reworked the LT was.
The defining trait of the 675LT is its weight reduction and aerodynamics. Thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber and lightweight materials, the car shed over 100 kg compared to the 650S, bringing its dry weight down to 1,230 kg. Its bodywork was also heavily revised with a more aggressive front splitter, side skirts, larger air intakes, an active rear diffuser, and the distinctive “longtail” active rear wing, which provided 40% more downforce than the 650S. The suspension geometry was recalibrated, borrowing from the extreme P1 hypercar, and the car was fitted with lightweight forged wheels and sticky Pirelli Trofeo R tires for maximum grip.
Inside, the 675LT kept to McLaren’s lightweight philosophy. The cabin featured carbon-fiber racing seats, Alcantara trim, and exposed carbon elements, with most sound insulation stripped away to save weight and bring the raw mechanical soundtrack closer to the driver. Technology like the IRIS infotainment system and air conditioning were available, but many buyers chose to omit them in pursuit of pure performance.
Production of the 675LT Coupé was limited to just 500 units worldwide, making it an instant collector’s item. It was later joined by the 675LT Spider, equally limited in numbers. The car’s mix of explosive power, lightweight precision, razor-sharp handling, and extreme aerodynamics quickly earned it a reputation as one of McLaren’s finest driver’s cars of the modern era. Even today, the 675LT Coupé is remembered as a pure, unfiltered supercar, bridging the gap between road car and track weapon while honoring McLaren’s racing heritage.
