Boost Me (for free)

If you like this, I’d really appreciate your boost!

The Peak Design Outdoor Sling is an amazing bag, but it has one critical flaw: the buckle button for detaching the strap can be accidentally pressed, causing the bag to fall. Until now, there hasn’t been a simple and elegant solution—but this model fixes that problem.

This model acts as a guard over the buckle button, preventing your bag from accidentally falling.
To detach the strap, simply lift one side of the Buckle Lock and press the button.
Install by fitting it into the existing holes on the buckle.

This model was designed for the buckle size of the Outdoor Sling 7L.
I’m not sure if it will fit the 4L or 2L versions.
If you have a 4L or 2L bag, I’d really appreciate it if you could give it a try and leave a comment with your results!

I printed this in PLA, but if weather resistance is a concern, ABS or similar materials are recommended.
No supports are needed. Because the contact area with the build plate is small, you may want to use a brim depending on your 3D printer.
