Description
Sculpture of Icarus from Greek mythology
This is one of my tallest models, but it prints very well with a few supports.
I also added a rock that serves as a pen stand. In the print profile, I cut a hole in the rock using a negative cylinder, and you can adjust the cylinder size as needed. After printing, simply glue the rock to the base.
In the print profile, there are two versions of Icarus. One version includes the complete model, and the other is separated into the wings and the Icarus figure. You can print Icarus in a single color so that he stands out against the wings, add a filament change to color the shorts, or, if you use AMS, print him in multiple colors with the hair in a different shade.
Below is my quick 5-minute paint job using acrylic markers :)
