Description
This display stand was originally designed to hold Casio Royale / Casio Royale Homage watches I've been customising, but I felt it was easily adaptable enough to put out there for others.
The tolerence is perfect for my printer but your mileage may vary.
The 45mm parts are perfect for the Casio Royale, but will work perfect for any sub 39mm watch with smaller crowns, dress watches or ladies.
The 55mm parts will fit almost any watch and there is oversizing for the rods (I prefer this aesthetic) so there is room to leave some tolerance and fit even bigger watches such as the larger G-Shocks.
The rods are press fit into the sides, its pretty tight, so very sturdy, but this in itself means that it is a bit of a pain for watches on bracelets or fully enclosed bands. This can be overcome by disassembly, but I am going to work on a portion to house these at some point, so feedback on what percentage of peoples collection are on bracelets would be handy.
Essentially you are pressing the rods through one side, stacking the parts in with the side pieces (wall facing centre), centre piece, side piece (wall again facing centre) then sandwiching them with the other wall.
I printed this in basic PLA and it works a treat. Hopefully its of some use to others!
