This model is fantastic. I took it a little. bit further and remixed the base, added internal electronics as well as a small external display. I created a project to have it monitor NCAA D1 hockey games and go off whenever specified teams score. Its got a light, and a speaker that plays the teams goal horn as well.

Lights up when the Wild score. Uses a esp32 to control it. DFPlayer Pro for the goal horn mp3. NeoPixel 16 led ring that rotates. The button single clicks to change volume, double clicks to test, triple clicks to switch teams as I made the code support multiple teams.

that is so awesome! did you modify the base to fit those components in? are you planning on posting instructions anywhere on how to make this project? like on instructables.com? I'm sure a ton of hockey fans would love to make one

Great model. I've printed it as a gift for my great nephew. I made his to sit on his bedside table, or a shelf or dresser top. Looks great! This is why I gave you a boost and rated it as five stars. I considered wall/ceiling base, but I see two issues. Screw slots need to run the same direction, and a screw/cable path conflict. Please see the attached image which explains the situation and shows a more functional screw slot position. Again, thank you for creating the model and sharing it.

thanks for the boost and rating! when I designed the base plate for the wall I had intended it to be held up by only the top screw hole and the cord to go through the bottom. if you want to attached it to the ceiling you could use the two side holes and then twist it to lock it in place. does that make sense? I think that will be the solution to your problem but if I misunderstood please let me know

Not a problem for me, as I don't plan to hang it. I commented in case others wanted to do that. Since you included four screw slots, I'd assumed you were expecting people to use at least two of them. Or if you used all four, I guess it would be strong enough to do chin-ups from. :-) If only using one (the top), or the two sides, then the cable routing and orientation of the screw slots isn't a factor. I obviously misunderstood your design intent. Again... great model. I love it!

Hi, great model! It’s really well designed, prints fantastic, and looks killer. I liked it so much I remixed the base plate to fit a standard E26 pendant socket. I’m finishing up an adaptor plate to mount it directly to the cross bars of a Costco 10' X 20' Steel Frame Canopy. Here’s the pic of the finished pendant light, link to the file below. https://makerworld.com/en/models/862405#profileId-812928

I reduced the parts to 80% to fit on the A1 Mini. Also modded the lamp holder to fit the new size. Really nice design...Thx!

My son has the A1 mini and was looking to build this, does an 80% reduction work for it without having to modify the base. If not, can you give me some pointers on how to modify

excellent model printed very easily and the finished result looks great. I did have some challenges with assembly trying to get everything to fit together but eventually it went together fine and I highly recommend this.

glad you like it! it looks like the bottom of the cage isn’t snapped in properly. they look bent inwards. try to push them out and they should lock into place with the base. that could have been your issue.

I modified it heavily to fit an E14 RGB LED Lamp and used Translucent PLA so i can change colors. ist was a great starting point and the cage fits perfectly.

Love this model! Looks awesome, prints easily and works perfectly. In fact I designed an adaptor to turn it into a plug in pendant light and I use them under my awning. https://makerworld.com/en/models/862405#profileId-812928
