Stackable 11x17 (A3) Paper Tray
Print Profile(1)

Description
Introducing the first 3D printable 11"x17" / A3 / Tabloid Paper Tray (that I know of)
I couldn't find any other models for paper this size and they are very expensive to buy so I created one myself.
2026-02-16 - THE FILAMENT PROFILE NOW CONTAINS SEPARATE PRINTS FOR THE TWO SIZES - 11X17 vs A3. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE PRINTING THE CORRECT PLATES.
Due to the large size, it has to be printed in sections and assembled. I have included risers for stacking multiple trays together. I will be adding a second and maybe a third myself when I get time. Before printing a second set, test the rigidity of your assembly as some people have mentioned it not being rigid enough for stacking depending on the material.
You could also fit 2 stacks of 8 ½"x11" / A4 / Letter sized paper side-by-side.
You will need to print the tray sections, joint clips, and side inserts. The side inserts are set up for AMS dual color, but if you want to print it all one color just delete one of the colors in the print profile.
The individual pieces are somewhat thin so assemble them carefully, but once they are assembled they are fairly sturdy.
For material I recommend something like PETG that is flexible, especially the joint clips. They can be hard to press into place if they are too stiff. A PLA+ is probably ok for the rest if you want to change material.
