FATE: WEAVER OF DESTINY

In Greek mythology, the figures that have fascinated me most are the “Fates” (Parcae in Roman mythology and Norns in Norse mythology), the three goddesses who weave the destiny of humans. They represent blind and immutable destiny, a force that restrains even the power of the gods and governs the cosmos and the events of life.

• Clotho, the youngest of the Fates, holds the distaff from which the thread of life is spun.
• Lachesis is responsible for stretching the thread and determining its length.
• Atropos, the oldest and “inflexible”, has the inexorable task of cutting it.

So for the “Greek Mythology” contest, I reinterpreted the Fates, not as three separate entities, but as a single being, a tentacled creature with anthropomorphic elements.

The creature is enveloped by a black drapery, which in the upper part reveals the invisible silhouette of three spectral entities outlining the shape of their heads.

To differentiate and identify the three Fates, I placed a crown on each of their heads:

As for the three limbs, a number of bracelets corresponding to each crown.

Atropos' central limb has the Blades of Death at its ends. Between the blades, the “astral eye” is visible, which the Fates share to observe between the existential planes of life and death.

For the Thread of Life, I used a PLA Glow filament so it lights up in the dark and adds a more spectral and mystical touch!!!

Designed to be printed in multiple parts even on A1 mini!!!! Assembly is very intuitive but I have uploaded images below that show the correct mounting.

!!! SUPPORTS ARE VERY EASY TO REMOVE, BUT MAXIMUM ATTENTION MUST BE PAID, BECAUSE THERE ARE MINUTE PARTS, SUCH AS THE FINGERS, TO BE HANDLED WITH CARE!!!

🔹I also created a themed base that serves as a night lamp, inside there is a cavity specifically designed to house the LED Lamp Kit - MH001, this base in my opinion gives a unique touch to the model. in print plates 7 and 8 there are spools of thread that will be glued into the slots in the base which will recharge when the lamp is on and then light up when turned off!!!🔹
