Description

My neighbor asked me to make him a keychain wrench for his boats drain plugs (½" NTP square head), so I created a keychain wrench that prints without supports, and is strong enough to function as a wrench, while being small enough to fit on your keychain and in your pocket.

Features:

  • Can be used to insert and remove ½" NTP square head boat drain plugs
  • Small Pocketable size
  • No Supports Needed

Print Profile Notes:

Nozzle: Suggest 0.4mm nozzle for precision fit
Wall Loops: 4 wall loops on 0.4mm nozzle, 0.6mm nozzle not recommended due to decreased layer adhesion.
Layer Height: Suggest 0.16 or 0.20mm to maximize strength (0.16mm default for smooth surface)
Infill:  50% gyroid for PETG, 90% gyroid for the first 5mm of the part
Brim: None on textured build plate. Consider brim for smooth PEI plate.
Color: Any

Material: PLA, PETG
Print Orientation: Print flat surface down on printbed
Supports: None
3d Printers: Should be printable on any printer.
