Removable License Plate Holder Beta/Rieju

I designed this removable license plate holder specifically for the Beta RR 50 Euro 5 because I was looking for a simple and clean solution to quickly remove the license plate when needed – e.g., for stunt riding, shows, or simply when the bike should look better without the plate.

 Design Details:

• The holder consists of two parts: a base plate for the rear and a slider into which the license plate is inserted.
• The slider is held by two 10×2 mm neodymium magnets – strong enough so nothing rattles or slips.
• Additionally, the slider is secured with an M6×25 screw so that it does not come loose by itself, even with vibrations.
• The design is structured so that the slider is easily removable but still reliably fixed.

 Mounting Instructions:

• The holes for mounting to the rear are not pre-drilled – this allows you to position the holder exactly as you wish. Simply drill the holes yourself and screw it in.
• The magnets should be permanently glued in with superglue or epoxy resin.
• The M6 screw (25 mm) is screwed directly in – no threaded insert necessary.

 Required Parts:

• 2 × Neodymium Magnets (10×2 mm)
• 1 × M6 Screw (25 mm length)

• Drill (for mounting holes)

   

 Material Recommendation:

I recommend printing in PETG, as it is a very robust, tough, and weather-resistant plastic – ideal for use on a motorcycle.
PLA is rather unsuitable, especially in heat or under heavy load.
