HELLDIVERS 2 G-7 PINEAPPLE â NO AMS REQUIRED
UPDATE 9-5-25: Added a link to a clip with adjustable tolerances through Makerworld's Parametric Model Maker. This should be helpful for those having difficulties with tolerance with materials other than basic PLA.
UPDATE 9-10-25: Version 2 is now available. Complete model revamp. Snap clips are now integral to the base. Spoon is now lore-accurate. Pull Pin redesigned. Added watermark to the bottom of the Base to verify it's authenticity from a pineapple.
Well this was bound to happen, wasn't it?
Legend has it that an individual offered a Community Manager by the name of âBaskinatorâ a pineapple, for soup. Said CM graciously accepted this pineapple, presumably for soup. One week later, a new Warbond was announced, and it was revealed that pineapple was in fact NOT used for soup, but turned into a grenade! And thus, the G-7 Pineapple was born!
[For legal reasons, this story is satire, and in no way claims intellectual property over the G-7 Pineapple]
As a pineapple, I felt it was my duty to model and release a 3D printable G-7 Pineapple to the masses. I wanted a model that maintained as much lore-accurate detail as possible, multi-colour capabilities without the need of an AMS, and assembly that requires no additional hardware or glue to put together. All dimensions were scaled from promotional material of the âDust Devils" Warbond to maintain proportions and accuracy. The model is designed to be printed in parts such that anyone can print it, in any colour and any material one desires, no AMS required. Assembly of the model utilises snap-fit connections that should require light to moderate hand pressure to snap into place for a permanent, robust connection to the model base. All of these design choices lead to a model I was more than happy to share with the public! Managed Democracy should be able to be spread by anyone, and that's what this print aims to do!
Version 2 includes 3 different sizes to choose from! The largest size is scaled 1:1 directly from the game, with a comically large 90mm diameter. The smallest size is scaled 1:1.5 from the game with a more petite 60mm diameter, more akin to the size of a 21st century soda can. The middle child is my preferred size scaled at 1:1.3 from the game at a happy compromise of an 80mm diameter. Pick which one you like best and have at it!
â ď¸ASSEMBLY NOTESâ ď¸
An assembly guide is included at the bottom of the page. READ THE ASSEMBLY GUIDE BEFORE ASSEMBLY.
Assembly of the model relies on robust snap-fit connections to secure different parts of the model into place such that no glue is necessary for assembly. Due to the snap clips becoming integral to the base in Version 2, these snap fit connections will require moderate pressure to click them into place. Applying pressure with either both of your thumbs or by cusping one's fingers together and pressing the insert and the base together with your palms will yield in a rather loud (and satisfying) âSnap!â, indicating the insert is pressed into place, and will not come out on it's own. Whilst some connections might require moderate pressure, no connection should require you to put your body weight into it. If it does, please let me know in the comments such that I can adjust the tolerances as necessary.
Scaling the model from any of the preset scales is NOT RECOMMENDED due to the tolerances for the snap-fit connections not scaling correctly. If you must, I would recommend scaling UP from a smaller model and not scaling DOWN from a larger model in the slicer. But if there is a diameter you would rather see that is not featured here, let me know in the comments! It's not hard for me to modify my CAD model đ
Let me know how the print works out for you!
