Description
Towel holder suitable for furniture doors 16mm thick (the margin is very small so that it holds perfectly without addition).
Tested printed in PLA+, it holds a dish towel without problem.
The central bar measures 32cm (useful surface 30cm), 1cm on each side is used for the friction assembly. The bar itself is connected in its center by a dovetail. The margin is 0.2mm, on my printer this allows the assembly to hold without glue, but if you have a little play, a small drop of super glue on each part will suffice.
Printing is done without support, 0.2mm layers (I tested 0.28, it also works perfectly, it's less pretty), wall generator on Arachne, 6 walls, top/bottom shell layers at 5, sparse infill pattern on gyroid
The source file is available, you can vary the length of the central bar as needed (modify the Length value of Pad001 of the "Rod" object). Keep in mind that 1cm on each side is used for insertion into the hook. On larger printers (or shorter bars), the use of dovetails is unnecessary.
