Cosplay Ancient Greece Medusa Crown/Tiara

Hi everyone and welcome to my latest creation a cosplay Medusa crown/tiara my first entry into the ancient Greece contest. 

After thinking long and hard about this contest and what I could bring to the table that might be a little different I thought what if Medusa didn't actually have a head of snakes but a crown of snakes instead as she was more beautiful than the stories will have you believe. 

So I started work on my concept taking the full leap into something that could be worn rather than used or a solid model something which is something I've never attempted before, it was daunting to say the least. 

But after many failed attempts I've succeeded in bringing my concept to life and isn't she a beauty, weather you wish to ware it for cosplay or dress up on Halloween or just print it and make it look like an old relic from a forgotten time, it will certainly stand out and be a talking piece. 

I've set the sizing the same as stated for cosplay headbands, this size fits me and both my older children but obviously you may need to make adjustments depending on how you wish to ware it. 

The file I've shared is the same as that in the photos shown, you will get a better quality finish if you adjust the layer height but please bare in mind this will increase the print time. I've shared the multi colour print with you however if you wish to just print in one colour remove one filament from the options. 

This print is set for the A1 and above just because sadly the mini is too small to print it as one piece however if you are only wanting it as decoration rather than to ware then you could resize it to fit the mini also. 

It does require supports so please check these are on the file before printing I've set these as standard organic tree supports. Please be gentle when removing especially around the large snakes teeth and tongue as these are delicate. You will also need the use of needle nose plyers and a flat butter knife of some kind to ease the supports away close to the band under the snakes.
