Here is my first slightly more complex project design, which got me started with Fusion.
It’s a bike mount for the FISCHER Bicycle LED Front Light 45/20 (https://fischer-bike.com/de-de/fischer-led-akku-frontlicht-45/20-dynamo-look).
This is a nice USB-charged lamp if you don’t want to remove it every time you lock your bike, since it looks like a dynamo light and its mount includes an anti-theft mechanism.
However, as a plastic part, the mount tends to break (as happened in my case). And because I own multiple bikes, I wanted to have more mounts fixed on all of them. When I asked the manufacturer about getting a replacement mount, I was refused, so I turned to 3D printing.
The project includes the locking screw, the mount, and its key. Each part is compatible with the original mount and light.
The orientation of the model during printing affects the durability of the unlocking dongle, so I recommend printing it in the orientation shown in the provided print profile (with the longer side aligned to the bed of the printer), even though this requires supports.
If the dongle happens to crack but the anti-theft mechanism remains intact, the light can still be securely attached.
For materials, I suggest PETG ,PETG-CF or TPU for AMS, which would be a good solution for the flexibility of the dongle. Except for the key - PLA is more than enough. Make sure that the filament is dry before printing - otherwise some overhangs and the screw mechanism may suffer…
In the future, I plan to publish a version of the mount that will be compatible with GoPro mounts, allowing for more flexible positioning of the light (for example, with an extender, which can be useful for folding bikes: https://rockbrossport.co.uk/products/rockbros-bike-front-light-bracket-adjustable-front-fork-extended-mount?srsltid=AfmBOoq-2yt1bL3ZqAxcZUmyxVKoB58MBRBN7pAJ9bK1b9upJEEBtePq).
