Tamiya Lunchbox Monster Truck Mod 🚙⚡
I’ve adapted this model with a Lunchbox-style body, and it looks awesome!
- 📏 Size & Handling
The model is the same size and weight as a Hot Wheels Monster Truck. In fact, I’ve found it handles tracks even better—it stays straighter and doesn’t drift as much. - 🛠️ Bodies & Chassis
I’ve tried out a few different bodies but kept the original wheels and chassis, since they’re already perfect for the build. - 🖨️ Printing Tips
I’ve been printing everything in PLA, and it’s proven strong enough to handle flips, crashes, and general rough play. - 🔧 Tyre & Hubcap Merge Hack
To securely attach the tyres to the hubcaps:- Heat the inside of the tyre gently with a lighter.
- Place the hubcap into the tyre.
- Set it hubcap-side down on a table and give it a firm press.
This fuses them together into a solid, single piece.
