---------------Chinese Description 👇---------------

Based on the previously developed standard cable tie v5.0, a releasable structure has been added for reuse to reduce waste

https://makerworld.com.cn/zh/models/1516984-yi-chong-xing-neng-jiao-hao-de-xian-shu-zha-dai-a#profileId-1657346

This section only introduces the release structure. For other specifications and parameters, please refer to the link above

Design Modifications:

  • Red marked area: Slightly reduced the size of the first tooth on the locking tab to ensure smooth release motion
  • Blue marked area: Added a release lever feature
  • Yellow marked area: Added a release travel limit feature to prevent over-release damage to the locking tab

Release Operation Instructions:

  1. Press the green-marked release trigger surface with suitable force; the cable tie will unlock and may loosen slightly

  2. While continuously pressing the release switch, pull the strap with the other hand until the cable tie is fully unlocked

Only PETG Basic printing profile is provided; its high toughness is more suitable for the locking tab that requires repeated bending

PLA's layer adhesion is insufficient for reuse requirements. If you only use PLA, you can still print directly with my 3mf file, but it is not recommended, though not entirely unusable

Important Notes:

  • For non-releasable application scenarios, please use the standard cable tie (from the top link) to:
    • Avoid accidental activation of the release switch, which could lead to unnecessary issues
    • Benefit from higher retention strength, as the non-releasable version offers greater holding power for high-performance applications
