Blank panel for CapRack, the capsule 10-inch rack system

CapRack is a server rack mounting system that allows you to install more equipment in your 10-inch server rack.  

This is a blank panel for the CapRack. Everyone is welcome to adapt it.

This configuration has 2 plates:

• Plate 1 is the blank panel. You can use it as the blank panel and install it with your other CapRack equipment. Or just print 2 of them and connect them to be a full blank panel in your 10-inch rack.
• Plate 2 is the blank panel with better ventilation. It is just the blank panel but has no top or bottom layers, so it does not block the air. It has the same model with the plate 1. Slice it you will see the difference.

• 2.5-inch hard disk mount

Requirements

You need 2 M6 screws and 2 M6 hex nuts to assemble the blank panel or connect the panel with other CapRack equipment.

To install the panel onto your rack, you need to follow the way that your rack requires.

How to assemble

1. Prepare 2 M6 screws, 2 M6 hex nuts, the blank panel and the other CapRack equipment that you want to connect it with. 

   

2. Slide them together from the side:

   

3. Slide the to the end, put a hex nut into the slot: 

   

4. Screw in a M6 screw, from the other side of the panel:

   

5. Install other screw & nut in the same way to the other slot. Then you get it! The panel is ready to be installed onto your rack!
