BSA Eagle Scout Cake Topper
Print Profile(1)

Description
I put this cake topper together for one of the scouts in our troop who just had their Eagle Scout ceremony đ. I remixed a few different 3D files to make the final design. I donât own the rights to the original files, so Iâve listed them here to give proper credit to the awesome creators. All of them were shared with remix and non-commercial use allowed.
Feel free to download, remix, and make it your ownâjust be sure to give credit to the original creators too đ.
Instructions: Iâve included the 3MF file with the right orientation and settings already set up. The parts do need supports, but itâs pretty minimalâmostly just on the head/hat piece. I do have an AMS, but to cut down on waste I printed everything in plain white PLA and then painted the parts afterward. Once everything was printed, I glued the head to the body, making sure to line them up carefully. After letting the glue cure (about 6 hours depending on what glue you use), I painted the assembled body, hat, and log. A few coats really helped the colors pop.
Once the paint was fully dry, I glued the rest of the pieces together. Quick tip: donât paint the surfaces where parts connectâlike where the body joins, the bottom of the eagleâs feet, or the spots on the log where the feet attach. Youâll notice those areas are smooth, almost like little footprints. Finally, I glued the BSA logo onto the hat to finish it off.
Good luck! Â Post pictures of your versions, I would love to see them!
